A Spatial and Behavioural Analysis of Users at Final Bus Stops in Ger Area, Ulaanbaatar

We will examine how residents utilise and transform this space. Observers will document how informal vendors, waiting commuters, and social interactions define the character of the bus stop. This reflects a 'placemaking' approach, wherein focusing on the needs and activities of local users reveals the true nature of the space. Students will then discuss how these 'bottom-up' patterns diverge from official urban plans.
